Communication is key to ensuring the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with the information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to ensure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder. Included are answers to some common questions you may have. Spring registration opens December 1st, 2025 until February 16th, 2025. After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full, we will build a waitlist and fill openings from the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $10.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. Buddy and Coach requests are less likely to be met during late registration. |

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEASON:
DECEMBER 1ST, 2025: Spring season registration begins.
FEBRUARY 17th-March 14th 2025 : We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules, and more during this time.
FEBRUARY 16th, 2025: Early registration closes for all league locations. Today is the last day for a guaranteed spot on a team.
FEBRUARY 16TH, 2025: Late registration begins. Limited space, based upon availability per age division. Late fees will apply.
2 WEEKS PRIOR TO START OF SEASON: All rosters and schedules will be posted.
MARCH 18th @ 7 PM EST - MANDATORY COACHES TRAINING: Virtual meeting for all volunteer coaches and team managers for all Georgia league locations. After registration closes, volunteers will be assigned to a team once their background check is cleared. Each volunteer assigned will receive a team shirt and a game ball. A separate email will be sent out to RSVP for the meeting with the Zoom link included.
WEEK OF March 3rd- 14th (EMERSON LOCATION) & (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): Player's jersey, flags/flag belt, and optional merchandise purchased during registration will begin arriving at Ship-To address provided with registration.
March 21st (EMERSON LOCATION) & March 23rd (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): Meet & Greet Day - Game Times and locations are posted 1 week prior to the start of the season on the website under Game Day - Game Schedules. Teams will meet the coaches for 30 minutes off the field then participate in their first 1-hour practice on the field. Bring your mouth guard, jersey, and flag belt/flags! Please double-check your player's roster in the MOJO app.
March 28th (EMERSON LOCATION) & April 6th (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): 1st week of games. Practice is held 1-hour PRIOR to the game time listed on the schedule each week. Please check your Game Schedule under the GAME DAY tab on the website and confirm it with your schedule in the MOJO app.
3/30 (SB Cumming and Richmond Hill), 4/6 (SB), 4/20 (Easter), 5/16 (Emerson Event) 5/25 (Memorial Day): NO GAMES
May 18th (EMERSON LOCATION) & MAy 18th (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): The last week of the season will be our Madden Playoffs. ALL teams will have at least one game scheduled today. Exact schedules for this date will be posted after the STANDINGS are finalized. Madden teams may play an additional game for the championship game after the playoffs. Please note that Lombardi and Shula games may be adjusted to accommodate the playoffs schedule.
June 1st (EMERSON LOCATION) & June 1st (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS)*: League make-up date in case of inclement weather or facility issues during the season will be determined by National Flag Football Management.
EQUIPMENT:
NFL FLAG Jersey, Flag Belt/Flags, and a mouth guard must be worn each week. Your jersey and flag belt, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration will be shipped directly to your home. A $12.99 shipping fee will be applied during registration. Your player MUST have a mouthguard to participate. Bring your own, or conveniently purchase one ONLINE for pick up on-site at the Game Day Tent for $5.
Shorts and/or pants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participant wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit a player's hand or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags.
Players can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers. No metal cleats allowed.

COMMON QUESTIONS:
WHEN WILL MY PLAYER(S) RECEIVE THEIR EQUIPMENT?
Once we complete putting teams together, we will send the rosters to our inventory department which will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belt, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouthguard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week.
WHAT OTHER EQUIPMENT WILL MY PLAYER NEED THIS SEASON?

WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH?
We are hosting our virtual coaches meeting prior to the season. You should hear from your coach the week before Meet & Greet.
WILL THERE BE ANY PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK?
We are a recreational organization on a mission to make our favorite sport accessible, inclusive, and fun for every child who wants to play. Part of this mission is only requiring a 2-hour commitment from families each week allowing them time to participate in additional activities. Therefore, hosting additional practices prior to the start of the season or during the season aside from the team's scheduled time on the designated day.
WE ALREADY REGISTERED BUT DID NOT ADD JERSEY LETTERING. CAN IT STILL BE ADDED?
Jersey lettering is available until the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, we no longer offer the option for jersey lettering to ensure delivery before the season begins. WE WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOME OF THE ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE AFTER WE COMPLETED THE REGISTRATION BUT THE OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER SHOWING. CAN WE STILL PURCHASE ANY OF THOSE ITEMS?
Once the registration has been completed, the optional merchandise can not be added to the initial order, however, families are welcome to shop our NFL Flag Fan Shop any time to rep their team or grab some official NFL Flag gear!
ARE THERE PLAYOFFS?
Yes, for our Madden divisions ONLY (4th grade - 8th grade). The top 4 teams in each Madden division will participate in playoffs on the last week of the season. The top 2 teams in each Madden division will then play an additional game following for a Championship game. All other divisions (PreK - 3rd Grade) will not have playoffs but will still have a game scheduled for the last week of the season.
